Jason Pinnock stays in New York, claimed by Giants
Former Jets safety Jason Pinnock was claimed off waivers by the New York Giants.
Arguably the most surprising cut by the Jets, it was no surprise Pinnock was claimed off waivers. He quickly became a solid safety option, so it was just a matter of which team would pick him up.
So Pinnock gets to stay in New York, just now he’ll wear blue instead of green. And ironically, the Giants were right behind the Jets in the waiver wire order. The Jets were No. 4, the Giants were No. 5.
So Pinnock doesn’t last long without a team and he’ll hardly have to move, geographically.
