Jada Pinkett Smith is approaching a major milestone birthday. This Saturday, Pinkett Smith turns 50, and the actress just shared exactly what she plans on leaving behind with 49.

In a new episode of Red Table Talk with daughter Willow Smith and mom Adrienne Banfield Norris, Pinkett Smith said she's "so done" with convincing people she's enough.

"I just feel like, women taking back our power, in any form that you need to, to be done with the convincing," she said. "That you're smart enough, that you're pretty enough, to convincing people that you're worthy."

The Gotham actress said the last four years of her life have been particularly transformative in "coming to the self" and "having acceptance for the self" following many personal journeys. "To come to that place of really grounding myself in that understanding... that's been the most beautiful part of almost turning 50."

Pinkett Smith has previously opened up to Entertainment Tonight about aging in the past, saying that at this point in her life she embraces exactly who she is.

"I think as you get older, you really get to the point where you just don't care anymore what people think," she said. "There's a certain freedom that comes with that, [which] you really don't have when you're young."

The mom of two said she's happier now than she was when she was younger. "[As] I've gotten older, I've gotten more acceptance from myself and I think that releases a lot of stress," she said. The actress said she also takes "really good care" of her body.

Pinkett Smith told Shape that her mother (who has rock-solid abs, by the way) encouraged her to stay active while she was young with activities like horseback riding and gymnastics. And although she told Women's Health that she "used to go so hard" in the gym, the Red Table Talk host now aims for balance.

"When I’m tired I don’t go to the gym," she said. "I take it easy. If I only go to the gym three times a week, that’s OK. It’s OK. It’s like, my body is beautiful, my body is in good health."

Pinkett Smith also eats a nutrient-rich diet featuring fresh veggies and lean protein. "I was raised to believe you eat because your body needs fuel for energy, so I eat superfoods," she told Shape.

In an Instagram video, she revealed that she drinks a ton of water—around eight or nine bottles of water a day. "Water is so essential," she said, adding that she also cut down on sugary drinks and alcohol. "I don't drink soda. I don't drink a ton of juice or a lot of alcohol—I may have a glass of wine three times a year."

And when it comes to her skin, Pinkett Smith takes pretty good care of her complexion. Sunscreen is a must, and she loves serums and moisturizers with skin-tightening ingredients like hyaluronic acid and retinol.

It's clear though, that Pinkett Smith values the beauty within. Happy 50th birthday, Jada!
