Jackson State transfer WR Shane Hooks considering a reunion with Coach Prime

The good news keeps coming for the Colorado Buffaloes football team. On Monday morning, Jackson State transfer WR Shane Hooks posted his top five schools on social media, and the Buffs are on the list.

Hooks also had a Deion Sanders Jr. song on the post, so the lure to play for Deion Sanders once again might be a massive consideration for Hooks, who led Jackson State last season with 64 catches, 748 yards and 10 scores.

Former Jackson State QB Shedeur Sanders, the son of Coach Prime, made his way to Boulder right after the hiring, and Hooks would reunite with him and two-way star Travis Hunter.

Hooks also has UNLV, Cincinnati, Texas A&M and Ole Miss on his list.

Hooks has quite the highlight reel, including this eye-popping grab during the 2022 season:

Hooks entered the transfer portal shortly after Coach Prime took the job in Boulder, and the intrigue to reunite with him could play a major factor in his final decision, not to mention rejoining Shedeur Sanders and a slew of other former Jackson State players.

The Buffs could land another top talent, and their offense is already looking loaded next season.
