Instant reaction: Titans select QB Will Levis No. 33 overall

The Titans finally put an end to the draft freefall of Kentucky quarterback Will Levis with his selection in the second round after a trade up with the Texans.

Levis was a two-year starter for the Wildcats and proved during that time to be a de facto leader in the program while putting up respectable stats. During his two seasons as a starter, Levis put up 54 total touchdowns and maintained a quarterback rating over 150. He began his college career at Penn State.

With all the projectable skills you could want in an NFL quarterback, from a laser arm, high-level athleticism, a snap release, and solid leadership qualities, it is easy to see Levis developing into a starter for Tennessee. His selection in the second round eases the tension of Levis having to start right away as he can sit behind Ryan Tannehill and develop further for the time being.
