First up for Hudson will be a newcomer to scene, Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary.

The Cardinals defeated Cass City, 58-21, and Brown City, 64-18, to win the regional title and have one state qualifier in junior Ethan Wakefield.

It'll be tall task for MLS as the powerhouse Tigers have 12 state qualifiers and six regional champions, including Chase Clark (113 pounds), Nicholas Sorrow (120), Cole Marry (138), Coy Perry (144), Austin Marry (150) and Logan Ryan (175).

Awaiting Hudson in the semifinal would be either perennial state qualifiers, Manchester or Bronson. Bronson defeated Springport (56-21) and Mendon (61-13) while Manchester took down Riverview Gabriel Richard (59-18) and Memphis (41-35).

The Flying Dutchmen have eight state qualifiers, including regional champion sophomore Sammy Stewart (126) while Bronson has six state qualifiers and a regional champion in junior Mason Lindsey (165).

On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 St. Louis will take on No. 7 Climax Scotts-Martin, which made the final a season ago. No. 3 Benzie Central will face No. 6 Iron Mountain.

The second-ranked Sharks defeated Muskegon Catholic Central (69-5) and Lakeview (46-14) in the regionals and qualified 11 for the state tournament at Ford Field with sophomore Owen Fogel (106), sophomore Alex Rodriguez (113), junior Genaro Soto (120), junior Colin Kuhn (126) and junior Martine Wiggins (144) all winning regional titles.

Benzie Central earned the three-seed by beating Roscommon (67-12) and Whittemore Prescott (54-24) in team regionals and qualified 13 to the state meet with two regional champs in seniors Tyrone Brouillet (157) and Jacob Gillson (138).

Clinton earned the No. 3 seed in the tournament and will take on No. 6 Yale, who qualified by beating Algonac (36-31) and Richmond (39-25).

Yale qualified six to the state meet while the Redwolves advanced eight, including regional champions Nate Arntz (106), Braylon Long (126), Connor Younts (132) and Bryce Randolph (175).

If Clinton advances, awaiting will most likely be last season's runners-up, Whitehall, which beat Belding (42-29) and Howard City Tri-County (60-9) in the regional tournament and qualified 11 to the state meet with two regional champions, unbeaten junior Gavin Craner (175) and unbeaten senior Darnell Mack (150). The Vikings will take on seventh-seeded Gladstone.

Dundee is the top seed and looking to win a seventh-straight Division 3 title. The Vikings earned the top seed again as they cruised to the state tournament with a pair of 80-0 wins in the regionals and then qualifying 12 to individual states with nine regional champions.

Constantine and Hart will battle in the No. 4 vs. No. 5 seed matchup.
