Calhoun is a powerful run blocker. He often overwhelms opposition at the point of attack and frequently pancakes opponents. The 6-foot-7, 355-pound left tackle could play along the interior at the next level.
Calhoun has excellent mobility for a player of his size. The four-star is ranked as a top 100 recruit. Calhoun plays football for Walton High School in Marrietta, Georgia. The Walton star is the highest rated offensive line recruit in Georgia in the class of 2024.
Daniel Calhoun is Georgia’s fourth offensive line commitment in the class of 2024. Calhoun joins fellow Georgia offensive line commitments Michael Uini, Marcus Harrison and Malachi Toliver.
Georgia football and Kirby Smart hold the No. 1 recruiting class in the country. The Bulldogs are expected to be in contention for another elite offensive line recruit on July 7.
