GIRLS LACROSSE
Division IV
North Smithfield 14, North Providence 2
Braving the damp conditions, Kate Zonin scored 8 goals as she helped North Smithfield to an easy victory over North Providence. Also contributing to the win were Ava O'Neill with 3 goals and Eva Corriveau and Sophie Boisvert with 2 goals and 1 goal, respectively. The Northmen's netminder, Samanha Austin, recorded 11 saves. Scoring the goals for the Cougars were Alisandra Santana and Sandra Angell. Goalie Lesley Trapero Vazquez posted 15 saves.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Division I
Classical 3, Hendricken 0
James Men dished off 23 assists, Teddy Wallace had 9 kills and 3 blocks and Jacob Agramonte was good for 8 kills, 2 aces and a block in the Purple's sweep of the Hawks. For Hendricken, Ben Warr had 5 kills and 12 assists, Andrew Ramos recorded 6 kills and Ryan Narcessian added 4 kills.
La Salle 3, East Greenwich 0 (25-21, 26-24, 25-18), JV - L, 2-0
The performance's of two seniors helped the Rams take out the Avengers in a sweep. Ali Abdur-Razzak had 33 assists, 2 blocks, 2 aces and Ephraim Abhulime had 15 kills for La Salle in the win. Junior David Green chipped in with 5 blocks and 3 kills in the victory.
North Kingstown 3, Cranston East 0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-19)
Ryan Harrington's 15 kills and Evan Shea's 37 assists helped lift the Skippers to a win over the Thunderbolt. Charles Pincince recorded 9 kills and Christian Rivera dished off 17 assists for Cranston East in the loss.
Division III
Burrillville 3, Achievement First 0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-21)
The play of Frank Bergin (4 kills, 6 digs, 1 ace), Cayden Closson (6 assists, 3 digs, 3 aces and 2 blocks) and Mike Fiyod (7 digs, 1 assist, 1 ace) helped pave the way for the Bronco's victory over Achievement First.
