Colley scored a game-high 21 points as the Eagles raced past Lubbock Coronado 84-58 in a District 4-5A game Friday at Eagle Gym.
Jatyran Smith, Abilene High
Smith had 12 points in the Eagles’ win over Coronado. Tyson Thompson added 11 as AHS (17-6, 3-0) remained unbeaten in league play.
Landon Yates, Clyde
Yates led the Bulldogs with 12 points in a 58-45 loss to TLCA-San Angelo in a District 6-3A game Friday at Clyde. Jarrett Jeffers added 10 in the loss.
Landon Wells, Coahoma
Wells scored a team-high 23 points in the Bulldogs’ 72-57 victory over Merkel in a District 6-3A game Friday in Coahoma.
Ryan Shifflett, Coahoma
Shiflett followed Wells with 21 points in the win over Merkel. Javion Mendoza added 10.
Kooper Darby, Merkel
Darby scored a game-high 30 points in the Badgers’ loss to Coahoma. Aiden Jackson followed with 12, and Bryant Jones had 10.
Diontay Ramon, Hawley
Ramon scored a game-high 20 points as Hawley edged Cisco 45-42 in a District 10-2A game Friday at Hawley.

Ables added 10 points in the Bearcats’ win over Cisco.

Toof led the Loboes with 14 in the loss to Hawley.

Rogers had 12 points in the loss to the Bearcats.

Callaway led the Greyhounds with 17 points in a 50-39 victory over Roby in a District 15-1A game Friday at Knox City. Tristin Baxter added 12 points, and Devin Guillory had 11 in the win.

Cooper poured in a game-high 21 points in the Lady Eagles’ 55-37 victory over Lubbock Coronado in a District 4-5A game Friday at Eagle Gym.
Taryn Moore, Abilene High
Moore followed Cooper with 17 points in the league win over the Lady Mustangs.
Braley Brunson, Cisco
Brunson scored a game-high 17 points to lead the No. 12 Lady Loboes past Hawley 61-22 in a District 10-2A game Friday in Hawley. The win keeps Cisco (19-5, 4-0) unbeaten in district.
Pearson Hearne, Cisco
Hearne chipped in 13 points in the win over the Lady Cats. Brooklyn Hurtado added 10 for the league-leading Lady Loboes.
Chayni Chamberlain, Stephenville
Chamberlain scored a game-high 10 points as the No. 18 Honeybees beat Mineral Wells 30-28 in a District 6-4A game Friday in Mineral Wells. Kyla Ray added nine points, and Caitlyn Skiles had 8.

Wright led the Bulldogettes with 18 points in a 55-46 win over No. 24 Merkel in a District 6-3A game Tuesday in Coahoma.

Mitachie’s header put the Eagles up 2-0 with 21:27 left in the game against the Coyotes. It came off a corner from Karter Batten. Joel McPherson also five saves for AHS.

Laila Brown, Abilene High
Brown scored two goals in the Lady Eagles’ 3-1 victory over Royce City on the opening day of the TNT soccer tournament Thursday at Shotwell Stadium. Symone Cano also scored for AHS (1-1-1), while goalie Trinity Escobedo had six saves. Earlier in the day, Wolfforth Frenship beat AHS 1-0.

The sophomore guard scored a game-high 13 points in the Eagles’ 57-31 victory over Lubbock High in a District 4-5A game Tuesday in Lubbock. Payton Shawver followed with nine as nine players scored for AHS (16-4, 2-0).
