Here's a look at the teams Phoenix Suns face in final homestand

The Suns concluded a five-game road trip in New Orleans on Monday night and will be returning to Footprint Center for their final four regular season home games of the season on Wednesday. All four teams they face are near the top of the standings in their respective conferences and destined for the playoffs. Here’s what to know about each team that will be visiting Phoenix:

Cleveland Cavaliers, Wednesday, 7 p.m.

Record prior to Monday games: 45-30, third in the Eastern Conference standings.

About the Cavs: Guard Donovan Mitchell leads Cleveland in scoring, averaging nearly 27 points a game. He was held to 13 points in 31 minutes in Sunday’s loss at Denver.

The last time they met: Phoenix defeated the Cavaliers in Cleveland on March 11, a game in which Mitchell did not play. The Cavs were led by point guard Darius Garland’s 30 points in that game, while Kevin Durant led Phoenix with 37.

Minnesota Timberwolves, Friday, 7 p.m.

Record record prior to Monday games: 51-23, third in Western Conference

About the T-Wolves Minnesota is led by two of the NBA's premier players in guard Anthony Edwards, who averages 26 points a game and has appeared in 71 of the team's games, and center Karl-Anthony Towns, who is averaging 22 points and 8 rebounds a game. However, Towns has been out after he underwent surgery to repair a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee in March. He will be re-evaluated next week.

The last time they met: The Suns downed the T-Wolves 133-115 on Nov. 15 in Phoenix, with Durant and Devin Booker each scoring 31 points. Towns led Minnesota with 25.

New Orleans Pelicans, 3 p.m., Sunday

Record prior to Monday games: 45-29, sixth in Western Conference

About the Pelicans New Orleans has been led by power forward Zion Williamson's nearly 23 points per game. He's been a big reason for the team's resurgence in the West, along with forward Brandon Ingram (21 ppg) and guard C.J. McCollum (19 ppg).

The last time they met: The two teams met Monday night in New Orleans (the game ended after The Republic's print deadline). Prior to then the Suns routed the Pelicans in their previous meeting, 123-109, in New Orleans on Jan. 19. Ingram was ruled out of Monday's game with a knee injury.

Los Angeles Clippers, April 9

Record prior to Monday games: 47-27, fourth in Western Conference

About the Clippers: L.A. is led by a Big 3 of their own in Kawhi Leonard (23. points per game), Paul George (22.6) and James Harden (17). George scored 41 points in the Clippers' 130-118 win over Charlotte while Leonard added 23 and center Ivica Zubac 24.

The last time they met: The Clippers defeated the Suns 138-111 on Jan. 8 in Los Angeles, with a balanced scoring attack led by George's 25 points. Kevin Durant scored 30 for Phoenix. That win came just four days after the Clippers defeated the Suns in Phoenix, 131-122, a game that Durant missed with a hamstring injury.

The Suns will conclude their season with three road games at the Clippers, Sacramento and Minnesota.
