Clarendon's Howard, Randall girls doubles team voted Happy State Bank Athletes of the Week

Clarendon's Harrison Howard and Randall's Kynley Craddock and Gabriella Dishong have been voted the Happy State Bank Male and Female High School Athlete of the Week for May 6-11.

Howard collected four hits, four RBIs and two triples and pitched five scoreless innings, allowing one hit with nine strikeouts against Sudan.

Craddock and Dishong teamed up to win the regional tennis title in girls doubles, defeating Canyon's Brylee Jesko and Brooke Rebstock 6-3, 6-1.

Howard received 10,234 of the 21,643 votes cast for male athlete of the week, which was 47.3% of total votes.

Craddock and Dishong drew 22,124 of the 36,393 votes cast for female athlete of the week, which was 60.8% of total votes.

Students in all varsity sports are eligible and can only be named Athlete of the Week one time per season, per sport, and athletes from one school cannot win more than three consecutive weeks.

Nominations are due by 5 p.m. each Monday and can be submitted through email at sports@amarillo.com.

Voting runs Tuesday through Thursday each week.
