Griswold's Kazlauskas leads Bulletin's Boys Basketball All Star Team

The Bulletin is proud to present our 2023-2024 Boys Basketball All Star Team.

This year’s team is led by Griswold sophomore Kaiden Kazlauskas, our Boys Basketball Player of the Year.

The players were selected from the following schools: Norwich Free Academy, Griswold, Plainfield, Killingly, Norwich Tech, and Ellis Tech. They were chosen with input from their coaches and from our daily top performers lists during the season.

Player of the Year - Kaiden Kazlauskas, Griswold

The Wolverines sophomore forward averaged 17 points and 9 rebounds while earning All-ECC First Team honors. Kazlauskas led Griswold to the ECC Division III regular season title. He scored 23 points in the Wolverines’ 80-71 division clinching victory over Stonington.

Kazlauskas’ putback at the buzzer lifted Griswold to a 59-58 win over Norwich Free Academy.

Kazlauskas helped the Wolverines reach the ECC tournament semifinals and qualify for the Division III state tournament.

All Stars

Camron Barboza, Norwich Free Academy

The Wildcats senior forward averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds while helping NFA finish above .500 (10-9) during the regular season and qualify for the Division II state tournament.

Ian Brais, Ellis Tech

The Golden Eagles senior forward averaged 16.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.2 assists while earning All-CTC Honorable Mention honors.

Quin Crowley, Killingly 

Freshman guard averaged 15 points, 3.1 rebounds and shot 40 percent from the 3-point line while earning      All-ECC Honorable Mention honors and helping Killingly qualify for the Division III state tournament.

Armanee Davis, Norwich Free Academy

The Wildcats senior guard averaged 12 points, 3 assists and 2 steals while helping NFA finish above .500 (10-9) during the regular season and qualify for the Division II state tournament.

Ethan Graham, Norwich Free Academy

The Wildcats sophomore forward averaged 12 points and 6 rebounds while helping NFA finish above .500 (10-9) during the regular season and qualify for the Division II state tournament.

Daniel Hess, Norwich Tech

The Warriors senior forward averaged 14.5 points, 7.2 rebounds,  and 2.1 assists while earning All-CTC First Team honors. Hess helped Norwich Tech reach the CTC tournament semifinals and also qualify for the Division V state tournament.

Johnny Kazantzis, Killingly

Junior guard averaged 20 points,  9.1 rebounds,  and 3.7 assists while earning All-ECC First Team honors and helping Killingly qualify for the Division III state tournament.

Brayden Marquis, Plainfield

The Panthers sophomore forward averaged 14 points and 5 rebounds while earning All-ECC Honorable Mention honors. Marquis helped Plainfield qualify for the Division V state tournament.

Connor McRae, Norwich Tech

The Warriors senior guard averaged 13.6 points, 3 assists, and 2.6 rebounds while earning All-CTC Honorable Mention honors. McRae helped Norwich Tech reach the CTC tournament semifinals and also qualify for the Division V state tournament.

Kolby Mills, Griswold

The Wolverines sophomore guard averaged 11 points and 6 assists while earning All-ECC Honorable Mention honors. Mills helped Griswold win the ECC Division III regular season title and qualify for the Division III state tournament.

Brayden Rizer, Plainfield

The Panthers junior guard averaged 10 points while earning All-ECC Honorable Mention honors. Rizer helped Plainfield qualify for the Division V state tournament.

Honorable Mention All Stars
