Golf: Final North Jersey boys and girls rankings, scoring average leaders for 2023 season

Ramapo is the top boys’ team and Holy Angels the top girls’ team in the final North Jersey golf rankings for the 2023 season.

Ramapo capped a stellar season by winning the NJSIAA Group 3 championship and was simultaneously eighth overall among 24 teams competing for group titles. Green Raiders’ season highlights also included winning the Arcola Invitational and North 1, Group 3 crowns.

Don Bosco is ranked No. 2, thanks to winning the FDU Invitational and the Bergen County Nassar Team title. Bergen Catholic is No. 3, on the strength of capturing the Big North Conference Bergen Bracket championship.

Holy Angels produced its finest season in the program’s more than 20-year history and the most successful season by a North Jersey girls program. The Angels swept Big North, Bergen County, North sectional, and State titles.

Holy Angels spearheaded North Jersey’s most successful season in NJSIAA history, with Bergen County schools finishing 1-2-3 at the State Championship. Bergen Tech, ranked No. 2, was state runner-up, while No. 3 Immaculate Heart was third among the nine statewide teams.
