Girls lacrosse 10 Shore standouts from Week 1 of 2024 season

The opening week of girls lacrosse at the Shore happened, and there are already standouts.

Whether it's known names or underclassmen, girl laxers have been putting up numbers. Some teams haven't started their regular season yet, but it's worth noting many of the team who've played have been lights out. Expect more names to pop up as the season goes, but here's the 10 standouts for opening week.

Abby Boyle, Rumson-Fair Haven, Sr.

The Ohio State University commit and midfielder has been the most consistent scorer for the Bulldogs. In their first three games she's scored 11 goals, nine assists and is leading the team in points (20).

Chloe Keating, Red Bank Regional, So.

She went off for five goals in a win over Central Regional at the attack position. She also scored two goals in a win over Middletown South.

Gabby O'Brien, Shore, Jr.

The midfielder scored four goals, two assists in a win over Red Bank Catholic and one goal over Bridgewater-Raritan.

Anna Stumberger, Middletown South, So.

Through the first two games she's scored six total goals at the attack position.

Alyson Sojak, Barnegat, Sr.

She continued being a high-volume scorer from last year with 15 goals in the first two games. Against Point Pleasant Boro he scored eight goals and four assists. The high Point commit had seven goals and five assists over St. Rose.

Makenna Graham, Red Bank Catholic, Sr.

At the attack position she's scored six goals in the first two games for the Caseys. She scored four goals and had one assist against Shore.

Allison Momm, Toms River East, So.

The underclassman played a big part in her team being off to a 2-0 start. She scored seven goals agains Brick Township and two goals against Middletown North.

Samanta Ramirez-Posadas, Long Branch, Sr.

The midfielder is tied for the most goals on the team with two, and leads with most ground balls with 13 in the first two games. The senior has played a key part in her team being 2-0.

Gianna Rao, Donovan Catholic, Sr.

The attack has scored nine goals in the 2-0 start her team is on. She scored six goals against St. Rose and three goals against Ranney.

Faith Samaan, Holmdel, Sr.

The goalkeeper held Monmouth to one goal and finished with seven saves in their 14-1 win.
