Georgia softball live score updates in second round SEC Tournament vs. Florida
Georgia softball will continue its run in the 2024 SEC Tournament against Florida on Friday.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 5 p.m. ET on SEC Network following the second game of the day, but weather has delayed the start of the quarterfinal round.
The No. 7-seeded Bulldogs defeated No. 10-seeded Auburn in a shocking 14-inning marathon opener on Wednesday. Jayda Kearney had tied it in the 14th inning with a three-run home run blast, and Sarah Gordon sealed the deal with two outs and a solo homer to take it 6-5.
No. 2-seeded Florida ended its season 43-12 overall and 17-7 in conference, winning its last regular season game and series against No. 3-seeded Texas A&M. This matchup with Georgia will be the Gators first game of the tournament.
