Gardner-area football athletes have a chance to learn from NFL tight end at local clinic

Two-time Super Bowl Champion Noah Gray of the Kansas City Chiefs is coming back to Massachusetts to host the fourth-annual Noah Gray Football Clinic at Leominster High School.

The Chiefs tight end grew up in Gardner and attended Leominster High School where he starred as a quarterback and wide receiver for the Blue Devils. After graduating in 2017, he was once again a Blue Devil, going on to Duke University where he earned All-American honors.

Gray was drafted to the Chiefs in 2021 as a fifth-round pick and now has two Super Bowl championship rings as the No. 2 tight end to superstar Travis Kelce.

Gray, along with various local and college coaches, will put on a football clinic on Saturday June 8 for local athletes. It includes two sessions, a morning session for grades 5-8 and an afternoon session for high school players.

The clinic is presented by Tandem Diabetes Care, which will have representatives "offering information and education around diabetes," according to Leominster football staff. Gray was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes during his freshman year at Duke and uses his platform to bring awareness to diabetes.

On top of that, the clinic is sponsored by Rollstone Bank and Trust, which has said they will be matching up to $10,000 to benefit local high school football programs.

Even after all the success at the professional level, Gray has not forgotten his roots and continues to give back to his community through the annual clinic. Players interested can sign up for the clinic here.
