The University of Dayton Flyers, a No. 7 seed in the West region, will play their first-round game in Salt Lake City against the No. 10 Nevada Wolf Pack in the 2024 NCAA tournament on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Eastern.

TBS' crew for the Dayton-Nevada game will be Brad Nessler, Brendan Haywood and Dana Jacobson.

UD received an at-large bid with a 24-7 overall record, 14-4 in the Atlantic 10. The Flyers lost in the A-10 tournament to Duquesne, which earned the conference's automatic bid and will make its first NCAA tournament appearance since 1977.

Nevada is 26-7 overall, 13-5 in the Mountain West. The Wolf Pack lost to Colorado State in the Mountain West tournament quarterfinals. Nevada lost to Arizona State in the First Four last year in Dayton.

UD hasn't made an NCAA tournament appearance since 2017. The Flyers likely would have been a top seed in 2020, when the Big Dance was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2017, the Flyers lost to Wichita State in the first round. Head coach Archie Miller left UD for Indiana later that month.

Miller was replaced by Anthony Grant, who has led UD to three NIT appearances in his seven seasons at the school.

DaRon Holmes II is the Dayton Flyers' leading scorer and rebounder, with 20.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

The Dayton-Nevada winner will face the winner of a first-round game between Arizona and Long Beach State, and will play again in Salt Lake City.
