What is it?

The end to a long week for Arsenal after their 5,000 mile round-trip to Azerbaijan to beat Qarabag 3-0 on Thursday night. If they could put tiredness to one side, Unai Emery's men could win six successive Premier League matches within a single season for the first time since August to October 2016.

Fulham meanwhile will be keen to avoid defeat otherwise they would equal the club's worst start after eight top-flight matches of a season, set most recently in 2005.

When is it?

The first of three games on a busy Sunday, Fulham and Arsenal kickstart a Premier League feast with Southampton versus Chelsea following at 14:15 and then Liverpool hosting Manchester City at 16:30.

What time is kick-off?

Kick off will be at midday.

What is the team news?

Fulham will have to make do without full-backs Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Joe Bryan after they picked up shoulder and hamstring injuries respectively against Everton last time out. They join midfielder Neeskens Kebano (ankle) on the sidelines. There is better news for Alfie Mawson, however, who is in contention following a back problem while Tom Cairney is pushing to start in midfield.

Arsenal are missing a number of key players in Petr Cech (hamstring), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (leg), Laurent Koscielny (Achilles) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin). Aaron Ramsey missed the Europa League tie as his wife was due to give birth and may not return on Sunday although Henrikh Mkhitaryan is back after not travelling to Baku due to political tensions in the region.

"Fulham is a very big challenge for us, first because it's away and second because each match in the Premier League is very, very difficult.

"Fulham bought very good players like Seri, like Anguissa, and they have Mitrovic and Schurrle too.

"We need to push against them on Sunday and show our best performance."

Fulham head coach Slavisa Jokanovic aims to shore up defence

"We cannot be satisfied with this spell during this first seven games, it's huge room ahead of us to improve and we must try and work hard to fix all our problems. One of these is conceding so many goals and we are working in this direction to try find a solution.

"This is not our best level...we need to be more ambitious and need to show more aggression and more speed."

What are the best odds?

  • Fulham to win 4/1

  • Arsenal 4/6

  • Draw 17/10

What's our prediction?

Arsenal are in good form and managed to rest key players in mid week but Fulham, at Craven Cottage, will be the fresher after a week off. With the crowd behind them, they are capable of nicking a point although remaining tight at the back is a must.
