Former Ohio State football running back Evan Pryor transferring to Cincinnati

Former Ohio State running back Evan Pryor announced Wednesday that he will transfer to Cincinnati.

Pryor, who put his name in the NCAA transfer portal last week after three seasons with the Buckeyes, shared a graphic on social media revealing his commitment.

“All Glory to God,” he wrote.

He was the first of the Buckeyes’ two scholarship running backs to enter the portal after it opened on Dec. 4 with backup Chip Trayanum following days later. Trayanum committed to Kentucky on Tuesday.

A knee injury limited Pryor, a former top-100 prospect, at Ohio State. In preseason training camp last year, he tore the patellar tendon in his left knee, sidelining him until this season.

Appearing in four games this fall, he ran for 49 yards on 19 carries and caught a pass for 2 yards late in a rout of Minnesota last month.
