The Flying Pig Marathon's multitude of events take over Cincinnati this weekend.

Good morning and welcome to Flying Pig weekend! I'm high school sports reporter (and The Enquirer's resident running geek) Brendan Connelly.

Thousands of runners will take part in this weekend's events, which range in distance from tonight's 50 West Mile to Sunday's full marathon.

In the men's marathon, Jason Salyer has a chance to become the third repeat champion as he takes a short detour from his quest to conquer Ohio's six major marathons. The women's marathon could feature a new champion as three-time winner Caitlin Keen (2018, 2021, 2023) sits this year out.

Whether you're participating in this weekend's events or plan to cheer for the athletes in the streets of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, you can keep pace with this year's contenders right here.
