Flyers agree to 2-year deal with Scott Laughton worth $2.3M AAV
The Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to terms on a two-year deal with forward Scott Laughton worth an average annual value (AAV) of $2.3 million, the team announced Friday.
Laughton notched 12 goals and 32 points, playing in all 82 games for the Flyers last season.
The 25-year-old was selected in the first round of the 2012 NHL Draft by the Flyers and has emerged as a staple of their forwards corps, missing just one game over the past two years.
Laughton is a key part of the Flyers’ penalty kill, and won 54.2 percent of his faceoffs on 635 attempts last season.
