Five-star prospect’s visit to UNC basketball will be an official one

North Carolina continues to navigate the 2023-24 Atlantic Coast Conference basketball season, starting off 4-0 with another road win on Wednesday night in Raleigh. But as Hubert Davis and his team march on this season, they are still looking to build the roster for the future.

In February, the Tar Heels will get a visit from a big prospect in the 2025 class as five-star power forward Caleb Wilson will be on campus. Wilson will visit North Carolina on Feb.3 for the Duke game, which was previously announced. However, he confirmed that it will now be an official visit for him.

Per Joe Tipton of On3, Wilson’s visit is set to be an official one on Feb. 3:

The 6-foot-9, power forward out of Atlanta is one of the top players in the 2025 class and is a high-priority recruit for the Tar Heels in the recruiting cycle.

Wilson will also be at the North Carolina and Georgia Tech game in Atlanta at the end of January, meaning he will see the Tar Heels in action twice in a week.
