'Feelin' back to myself': Odell Beckham Jr. posts video of himself dunking

Odell Beckham Jr.’s long road back from a fractured ankle continues. The New York Giants receiver posted video of himself dunking on social media over the weekend.

The 25-year-old suffered his season-ending injury last October 8 against the Chargers and has slowly been working his way back since.

Is it still impressive on a lowered rim?

Beckham’s video shows him dunking twice, under a caption that says, “Feeeelin back to myself a lil bit…”

But Twitter commenters weren’t too impressed, since it looks like he’s using a rim that’s not quite the regulation 10 feet.

Whether it was an 8-foot or 9-foot rim, half of the negative Nellies likely couldn’t match Beckham, but since when has that mattered to Twitter trolls?

Next step: Training camp

Beckham, who also put on a show during Tampa Bay Rays batting practice last month, was with the Giants for mandatory mini-camp a couple of weeks ago. He wasn’t cleared for full participation by the team’s medical staff, but he did look good in drills he was able to take part in, running routes and doing position drills.

A couple of days after mini-camp ended, at a camp he hosted for young players, Beckham was dancing and posing for group pictures with kids who have dyed their hair like his, and generally sharing his personality with those in attendance.

Beckham, who is heading into the fifth and final year of his rookie deal, is hoping for a contract extension soon.
