New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is a man of many talents. He proved that yet again on Friday night.

Beckham showed up at Tampa Bay’s game against the Anaheim Angels on Friday night in Southern California, and looked right at home when he hopped in to take batting practice before the game. And from the looks of the video the Rays tweeted out, Beckham may have even hit a home run.

Beckham — rocking an old school Devil Rays jersey — was apparently there as a guest of pitcher Blake Snell, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. Snell got the start for the Rays on Friday night in Anaheim.

Beckham is entering his fifth season in the NFL, and is averaging nearly 95 yards and seven receptions per game. The 25-year-old only played in four games last season before injuring his ankle, and was sidelined for the rest of the year.

Any doubt about his ankle now, though, should be long gone. If he can hit a home run — or near-home run — in a major league ball park, it looks like he should be perfectly fine to take the field this fall.
