Fans can’t stop talking about Caleb Williams vs Shedeur Sanders head-to-head

We at Trojans Wire are lucky and privileged to see Caleb Williams play football every week. Williams is playing the quarterback position as well as any college quarterback ever has. That’s not hyperbole. Stop and ask yourself what Caleb Williams doesn’t do well.

He throws deep. He throws accurately. He throws on the run. He runs. He avoids pressure. He doesn’t make very many mistakes. USC’s offense is a wrecking ball, a flying death machine, a human video game, pick your image. It all starts with Caleb. Other players on this offense are supremely talented, but Miller Moss would not score over 50 points per game every game. Caleb Williams is making a very difficult sport look very easy right now.

Meanwhile, Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders has stepped into Boulder and averaged just over 40 points per game in his first two outings with the Buffaloes. USC has a 59-points-per-game average through three games. Colorado has a 40-points-per-game average through two games.

On September 30 in Boulder, Caleb Williams and Shedeur Sanders will go head to head. Buffaloes Wire will cover Shedeur Sanders. We will cover Caleb Williams.

Everyone will be talking about the battle between these two quarterbacks.
