Everything you need to know before heading to Acrisure Stadium for Steelers football

Steelers football is back, and fans are excited to return to their home stadium. But there are some new policies in place for fans to be aware of for the remainder of the season.

The biggest change fans will see this year comes with the name of the stadium. Starting this season, Heinz Field will be known as Acrisure Stadium.

Additionally, the stadium is now completely cashless, so fans should be sure to bring their debit and credit cards for purchases.

A clear bag policy is also in effect. Large backpacks and purses cannot be taken inside. Purses approximately the size of a hand mark an exception to the rule.

Fans are encouraged to arrive at the stadium at least two hours before kickoffs in order to prevent heavy traffic at the gates. Anyone with digital tickets is also asked to have them handy and ready at the gate.
