The NFL draft continues Friday with the second and third rounds. The Philadelphia Eagles have two picks in the second round.
With their first-round pick, the Eagles selected Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell with the No. 22 pick. It's the first time they drafted a cornerback in the first round since 2002 when they took Lito Sheppard. In four seasons for Toledo, Mitchell picked off six passes (five in 2022, one in 2023), had 122 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. He also had 52 passes defended (25 in 2022, 19 in 2023).

While loaded at the skill positions, the Eagles still have needs they will look to take care of in the draft. The Eagles could use help on the offensive line, linebacker and wide receiver.

The second and third rounds of the 2024 NFL draft kick off Friday at 7 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and the NFL Network. Rounds 4-7 will start at noon Saturday to conclude the draft.
