Who did the Broncos draft: Tracking every Denver selection in 2024 NFL draft

It's an important draft for the Denver Broncos.

Ahead of Year 2 of the Sean Payton era, the Broncos enter the 2024 NFL draft with eight picks available.

The Broncos have one first-round pick and two selections in the first three rounds. The team is then loaded up in the middle rounds as it tries to rebuild the roster.

The draft takes place April 25-27. Here's a look at Denver's selections.

Denver Broncos first pick: Oregon’s Bo Nix

QB of the future? Broncos select Oregon QB Bo Nix at No. 12 overall in first round.

During the 2023 season, Nix set an NCAA FBS single-season record by completing 77.45 percent of his passes as he set school records with 4,508 passing yards and 45 touchdown passes for Oregon.

Denver Broncos second pick: Utah defensive end Jonah Elliss

The Broncos didn’t pick again after Nix until the third round, No. 76 overall. Denver selected Utah defensive end Jonah Elliss.

He had 12 sacks in 10 games last season and was an All-American. His dad, Luther, played for Denver and later became team chaplain.

Denver Broncos trade up: Oregon receiver Troy Franklin

Broncos make a trade to jump high into fourth round and select someone familiar to new QB Bo Nix: Oregon receiver Troy Franklin at No. 102 overall.

Franklin had 81 catches for 1,383 yards and 14 touchdowns last season.

Denver Broncos fifth-round pick: Missouri’s Kris Abrams-Draine

Broncos pick a cornerback in the fifth round in Missouri’s Kris Abrams-Draine. It is pick No. 145 overall.

Denver Broncos next fifth-round pick: Notre Dame running back Audric Estime

The Broncos pick again at No. 147 and pick Notre Dame’s Audric Estime. He ran for 1,348 yards and 18 touchdowns last season.

Denver Broncos 7th-round pick: Utah receiver Devaughn Vele

Denver picks Utah receiver Devaughn Vele in seventh round at No. 235 overall.

Denver Broncos final pick: South Carolina’s Nick Gargiulo

The Broncos finish the draft with pick No. 256 (second-to-last) with South Carolina center Nick Gargiulo.
