Detroit Lions wish list: Vote now for 1 big move in NFL free agency 2024 you want to see

What should the Detroit Lions do in 2024 NFL free agency? General manager Brad Holmes, coach Dan Campbell and the front office have plenty of paths to choose from this week.

And it's the same question we're posing to readers with the start of the new league year coming 4 p.m. ET Wednesday, which officially opens free agency and trades for the upcoming season. Negotiations between agents for pending unrestricted free agents and teams can begin Monday at noon, so we'll start seeing reports of deals being agreed to, but not signed, very soon.

The Lions are in a unique position, coming off a 14-6 season which ended in the NFC championship game. They currently have the ninth-most money to spend, with around $46 million in cap space, according to overthecap.com.
