David Bakhtiari, Spencer Dinwiddie among former Buffs backing Colorado’s attempt at Coach Prime
Again, Colorado landing Deion Sanders is likely a long shot, but I’m going to enjoy entertaining the idea until the Buffs officially name their next head football coach.
There is some legitimate smoke regarding Coach Prime coming to Boulder, though, with 247Sports reporting that Sanders has been in talks with both Colorado and South Florida. We saw Twitter go wild for the idea and a few Buffs greats even showed their support, including David Bakhtiari, Chidobe Awuzie, Spencer Dinwiddie, Brendan Schaub, Matt McChesney and Juwann Winfree.
Those voices certainly carry some weight and it’s fun to see a few former players share some excitement about the program’s potential future. Here’s what they said:
