Cubs recall Raley, send down Rusin

The Chicago Cubs recalled left-handed pitcher Brooks Raley from Class AAA Iowa and optioned left-handed pitcher Chris Rusin to Iowa, the club announced Saturday.

Raley will start Saturday's game for the Cubs at the Colorado Rockies.

Raley, 24, is 1-2 with a 7.63 ERA in 15 1/3 innings in three starts for the Cubs this season.

Rusin lost in his only start for Chicago this year as he allowed one run on one hit and two walks, with four strikeouts. Rusin is 8-8 with a 4.59 ERA in 24 starts with Iowa this year.
