The American Express concert series has become a major part of tournament week for the PGA Tour event in recent years, attracting thousands of fans for two nights of music on the driving range at PGA West in La Quinta.

This year’s concerts are Grammy Award-winning country star Keith Urban on Friday night and award-winning rock/pop act Train on Saturday night.

Tickets for the day of golf and music are $85. But it is possible that some fans will be attending just the concerts and might never have been to a professional golf tournament before. Fans will find some restrictions for the unique concert venue.

The American Express offers these tips for those attending either of the concerts:

** All Friday and Saturday tournament tickets include admission to the concert after golf (there are no concert-only tickets)

** The concert area will open to spectators at 4 p.m.

** Concerts will start after the completion of golf on Friday and Saturday, approximately 5:30 p.m.

** The concert venue is located on the Pete Dye Stadium Course driving range at PGA West in La Quinta

** Chairs and blankets will be allowed only in designated areas.

** Food and beverage will be available during the concerts from event concession stands.

** ADA seating will be available in the concert venue
