Colts legend Art Donovan passes away

Legendary Baltimore Colts defensive tackle Art Donovan died Sunday from a respiratory ailment. He was 89.

Donovan played 12 years in the NFL and was known as much for his gregarious story-telling as he was for his play on he field for the Colts.

"Artie made a career out of telling people everything that he'd done right — and wrong — in football," Ordell Braase, his teammate on the field and in the broadcast studio, told the Baltimore Sun. "The diversity of his appeal was amazing. Everyone wanted to hug 'Fatso,' from young girls to little old ladies."

Donovan is surivived by his wife Dorothy, five children and seven grandchildren.
