Colorado women’s basketball: Jaylyn Sherrod named Preseason All-Pac-12

In my opinion, Colorado women’s basketball guard Jaylyn Sherrod will dictate how successful the Buffs are this season.

There’s of course some added pressure on Sherrod now that Mya Hollingshed has departed Boulder, but I’m confident that her confidence will culminate in a huge senior season.

The media is also optimistic about Sherrod as she was named a Preseason All-Pac-12 player on Monday. Colorado forward Quay Miller, who will join Sherrod at Pac-12 Media Day, and guard Kindyll Wetta were also honorable mentions.

The Buffs’ big three begin their season with an exhibition on Nov. 1 against Adams State before hosting New Mexico State on Nov. 7 for the season-opener.
