Colorado among nine teams facing five opponents inside the preseason AP Top 25
The 2023 college football season is nearly upon us. In less than three weeks, Coach Prime and the Buffs will travel to Fort Worth to take on the TCU Horned Frogs.
With the season quickly approaching, preseason award watch lists and polls are being released to help prepare fans for the upcoming season. On Monday, the preseason AP Top 25 was released and one of the more interesting notes from the poll was the number of teams that were playing multiple ranked opponents throughout the season.
The Buffs are one of nine teams that will face a total of five opponents that are ranked inside the preseason AP Top 25 — no team has more than five.
Let’s take a look at all the teams facing stiff competition this fall:
