      Rutgers women's soccer advances to B1G semifinals with 1-0 victory over Ohio State

      After an 1-0 overtime victory against Michigan State in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday, Rutgers advanced to the semifinals with a 1-0 victory over Ohio State. The Buckeyes were the regional host after finishing ahead of RU for second place in the Big Ten regular season standings. OSU scored an own goal in the fray in the 79th minute coming from a Rutgers corner kick by Sam Kroeger.

      Especially winning a state championship in my last, final high school game, it’s a great feeling. Despite only having 15 points, Brooks certainly had his moments. He casually hit a 3-point shot from the Spartans logo to beat the buzzer before halftime to give Douglass (17-5) its first lead since the first minute of the game.
