Colorado, Air Force game time and TV announced
When Colorado travels to Colorado Springs this season, it will mark the first time that the Buffs have appeared on CBS since the 1996 Cotton Bowl. Game time was announced to be on September 10th at 1:30 pm (MST). This will also mark the first time that CU has played at Air Force since 1974, a thrilling 28-27 Buffs victory. Colorado holds an all-time series lead 12-5 against Air Force, but will be looking for revenge for a 23-30 loss in Boulder the last time the teams played in 2019.
As far as playing on CBS, Colorado holds an all-time record of 4-1, which includes that 1996 Cotton Bowl, a 38-6 drubbing of Oregon. Other wins would include the 1989 victories over Illinois and Nebraska, as well as a 1990 win over Oklahoma.
Announcements will continue this week as we will be learning the time and dates for our season opener against TCU, as well as the matchups against Minnesota and USC.
