Cleveland Cavaliers two-way forward Emoni Bates will get some national exposure during NBA All-Star festivities on Friday.

Bates, who is on the Cleveland Charge roster, will replace the G League Ignite’s Ron Holland on Team Detlef in the Panini Rising Stars, the three-game mini-tournament featuring four teams comprised of NBA rookies, sophomores and G League players.

Honorary coaches Pau Gasol, Tamika Catchings, Jalen Rose and Detlef Schrempf will lead the four teams drafted from the ranks of available players.

Bates is averaging 18.4 points on 38% shooting, 5.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists for the Charge.
