Clemson softball live score updates vs Duke: Tigers face Blue Devils in ACC Tournament

After handling No. 4 seed Virginia in the conference quarterfinals Thursday, No. 5 seed Clemson softball faces No. 1 seed Duke in the ACC Tournament semifinals on Friday at Duke Softball Stadium in Durham, North Carolina.

The Tigers (34-16) dominated the Cavaliers to advance to their fourth straight conference semifinals. Behind pitcher Regan Spencer's complete game in which she allowed only one run, Valerie Cagle and Alex Brown had multihit games and recorded three RBIs to lift Clemson 8-1.

The Blue Devils (45-6) needed extra innings to defeat Boston College 2-0 in the quarterfinals. They swept Clemson on the road this season and eliminated the Tigers twice in the past three seasons in the ACC Tournament — 1-0 in the 2021 championship and 2-0 in the semifinals last year.

The winner of Friday's semifinals matchup (ACC Network, 1 p.m. ET) will face the winner between No. 2 seed Florida State and No. 6 seed Georgia Tech in the final on Saturday.
