Cincinnati Bengals earn high PFF grades after blowout of Ravens

On this victory Monday, everybody seems to love the 5-2 Cincinnati Bengals, otherwise known as the first-place team in the AFC North and AFC.

That includes the graders over at Pro Football Focus, who give a wealth of Bengals players high marks for performances during the big win.

Highest of all — of course — is rookie wideout Ja’Marr Chase. He earned a team-high 89.2 grade for his stunning, 200-plus-yard performance.

Not far behind him was two-touchdown man C.J. Uzomah (78.4) and fellow wideout Tee Higgins (76.6). Joe Burrow earned a 73.2 grade. Of note, right tackle Riley Reiff had his best game as a member of the Bengals at a 71.6, while Jonah Williams struggled tremendously at left tackle, earning a 47.9 grade.

Defensively, predictable names paced the top grades. Corner Chidobe Awuzie led the way (minimum of 10 snaps) at a 79.1 grade. Chido, Trey Hendrickson, Akeem Davis-Gaither and Larry Ogunjobi all had a 77.5 grade or better, which is exactly what fans should want to see from key draft picks and free-agent signings.

In all, the grades reflect what fans saw — a dominant Bengals team doing pretty much whatever it wanted in a rival’s house.
