What channel is Mizzou football vs. South Dakota on? Time, TV schedule for Tigers' opener

The clock is ticking down until Mizzou football’s season-opening game against South Dakota.

The Tigers are expected to rotate their quarterbacks between at least incumbent starter Brady Cook and redshirt freshman Sam Horn to begin coach Eli Drinkwitz’s fourth season at the helm, which will get underway with a new offensive coordinator in ex-Fresno State assistant Kirby Moore and the second campaign for breakout defensive play-caller Blake Baker.

The Coyotes went 3-8 in 2022 under coach Bob Nielson, but, like Missouri, they will start the new year with a new OC. Josh Davis, who recently helped South Dakota State to the national championship, has taken over play-calling duties for the ’Yotes.

What channel is Mizzou vs. South Dakota today?

TV Channel: SEC Network

Stream: FUBO (free trial); ESPN+

Clay Matvick will be on the call alongside analyst Aaron Murray in the booth on the SEC Network broadcast. Ashley ShahAhmadi will be the sideline reporter as the Tigers open their season on home turf at Memorial Stadium.

FUBO, which offers a free trial, will stream the Tigers’ game against the Coyotes. The game also will stream live on ESPN+.

Date: Thursday, Aug. 31

Time: 7 p.m. CDT

For the second straight season, Missouri kicks off its year on a Thursday night at Memorial Stadium in Columbia. Last season, the Tigers defeated Louisiana Tech 52-24.

It’s the first historic meeting between the two teams. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CDT in Columbia.
