What channel is Dolphins-Chiefs game on today? How to watch Peacock, time, TV schedule

Bundle up, Dolphins fans. It's gonna be a cold start to a Super Bowl run.

The Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs will play in what is expected to be among the coldest games in NFL history Saturday night. The game is forecast to kick off near or below 0 degrees with a wind chill as low as -30º. That's not great news for Miami, as they are 3-7 all-time playing in temperatures 23 degrees or below.

That's not all the bad news for the Dolphins (11-6). Fans will have to subscribe to Peacock just to watch from home. Tua Tagovailoa might be getting back Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Waddle, while former Chief Tyreek Hill will look to make a statement in his return to Arrowhead Stadium, but the defense is limping into the game. Cornerback Xavien Howard has already been ruled out, and safeties Jevon Holland and DeShon Elliott did not practice all week.

Gameday updates: Miami Dolphins face Kansas City Chiefs in historic cold on Peacock playoff game

The defending champion Chiefs (11-6) have plenty of doubts of their own. The usually high-powered offense led by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce hasn't been its usual self this season. They rank in the middle of the league at 21.8 points per game (far behind the Dolphins' No. 2 offense at 29.2 ppg) and have been plagued by drops. But they do boast the No. 2 defense (17.3 ppg) led by defensive tackle Chris Jones. Oh, and they're backed by Taylor Swift, the most popular fan of the NFL season.

The Chiefs won their Week 9 matchup 21-14 in Frankfurt, Germany, thanks in part to a Hill fumble that was returned for a touchdown. Miami rallied in the second half but fumbled on a bad snap on fourth down at the Kansas City 31-yard line with a minute left.
