Champions League quarter-final draw: When is it, what time will it take place and what TV channel is it on?

What is it?

The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals.

When is it?

The draw will take place on Friday, March 15.

What time will it take place?

At 11am GMT at the Uefa headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. The semi-final draw will also be made immediately afterwards.

Where can I watch it?

What teams will be in the draw?

The line-up was completed on Wednesday night, and includes a few unfamiliar faces. Ajax were one of the big surprise winners in a thrilling last-16 stage - reaching their first Champions League quarter-final since 2003 with a stunning 5-3 aggregate win over Real Madrid.

Tottenham, meanwhile, were the first British side to enter their name into the hat after overcoming Borussia Dortmund 4-0 on aggregate.

Manchester United needed a late VAR intervention as they overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit against Paris Saint Germain at the Parc des Princes to win 3-1 on the night and progress on aggregate.

Porto also needed a VAR penalty in extra-time against Roma to secure their passage into the last eight.

Manchester City crushed Schalke 10-2 on aggregate. After coming from behind late on to secure a 3-2 lead in the first leg, Sergio Aguero struck twice as City thrashed the Germans 7-0 at the Etihad in the return leg.

Cristiano Ronaldo struck a hat-trick as Juventus recovered from a 2-0 first leg deficit to Atletico Madrid to win 3-2 on aggregate and keep Juve's hopes of winning the biggest prize in Europe for the first time in 23 years. 

Then on Wednesday night, Liverpool knocked out Bayern Munich with a 3-1 win at the Allianz Arena, while a Lionel Messi-inspired Barcelona thrashed Lyon 5-1 at the Nou Camp to book their place in the last eight.

When will the games be played?

The quarter-final first legs will be played on Tuesday, April 9 and Wednesday April 10 with return legs the following week on Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17.
