Cardinals’ Week 4 defensive snap counts and observations vs. 49ers
In the Arizona Cardinals’ 35-16 Week 4 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the defense was on the field for a total of 55 snaps.

Defensive line
Leki Fotu, 42; Dante Stills, 33; Kevin Strong, 30; Eric Banks, 27; Roy Lopez, 20
Lopez was given the smaller role, having been signed just eight days prior to the game.
Fotu filled the Jonathan Ledbetter role, playing more than the others, while the rest rotated more.
Outside linebacker
Zaven Collins, 28; Victor Dimukeje, 27; Dennis Gardeck, 20; Cameron Thomas, 19; Jesse Luketa, 15; BJ Ojulari, 5
Ojulari gets only limite playing time. Collins and Dimukeje started and got the most playing time.
Gardeck picked up another sack, giving him four in four games.
Inside linebacker
Kyzir White, 55; Zeke Turner, 38
White again played every snap. Turner played in place of Barnes, who was limited with a finger injury all week. It was his first career start. He came off the field when the Cardinals ran their three-safety base package.
Barnes only played on special teams.
Cornerbacks
Marco Wilson, 54; Kei’Trel Clark, 54; Antonio Hamilton, 1
Hamilton saw one snap in a dime defense. The only snap Wilson and Clark missed was when the Cardinals used a big goalline defense and had no corners in the game at all.
Safety
Jalen Thompson, 55; K’Von Wallace, 55; Andre Chachere, 27
Chachere is the nickelback. The Cardinals used less nickel than in other weeks.
