Calvary Anderson, Walker, Lynch, Wood headline the 2024 All-District 1-2A softball team
It comes as little surprise that LHSAA Select Division III state champion Calvary Baptist swept the major awards on the 2024 All-District 1-2A softball team.
Sophomore pitcher Kynzee Anderson is the district’s most valuable player after going 25-2 with a 1.482 ERA and 257 strikeouts. Senior college signees DJ Lynch (Northwestern State) and Ramsey Walker (Arkansas) are the league outstanding players.
Lynch hit .617 with 13 home runs and 52 RBIs, while Walker hit .583 with 23 home runs and 65 RBIs. Lady Cavs coach Tiffany Wood is the coach of the year after capturing her fourth consecutive LHSAA state title and sixth overall.
