Should you buy or sell LSU as a championship contender in 2023?

The temperature around the LSU program this offseason is certainly a lot different than it was this time last year.

Expectations were fairly low for Brian Kelly in his first season as the team was coming off back-to-back mediocre seasons, but the Tigers exceeded practically all of them with a 10-win campaign that featured a win over Alabama, a West division title and a postseason win in the Citrus Bowl.

Kelly raised the ceiling quite a bit in a short period of time and entering 2023, some see this team taking the leap into national title contention.

Should you buy or sell LSU stock entering this season? College Sports Wire’s Patrick Conn says yes.

The hiring of Brian Kelly left many believing that LSU would turn it around after the 2021 campaign ended at 6-7. I am not sure we thought that the Bayou Bengals would be competing for an SEC title in year one. However, this team is confident and Jayden Daniels has resurrected his collegiate career under Mike Denbrock. We are buying the LSU Tigers this season.

Bringing Daniels back will certainly be huge for this team, and he’ll also return his top receiver in Malik Nabers as well as a number of other offensive weapons.

This team will feature a lot of new additions through the portal, especially on defense, but with Georgia and Alabama facing reloading years, this could be an opportunity for LSU to make a move.
