A butt-naked Cardi B and Normani just redefined XXL mermaid hair
It must be exhausting to be Cardi B. Like, alongside being one of the most successful and famous rappers on earth, she literally has to dream up new ways to outdo herself aesthetically every time she appears on or drops a new record.
And that's a tough ask when you've already experimented with everything from mullets to blue ombre hair, space buns to Spice Girls highlights, pink pixie crops to Bridgerton hair, and even pinning doll faces into your perm (that one was a wild ride).
Anyway, turns out if you challenge Queen Cardi to one-up herself, she'll pull off the brief with flying colours - as proven by her latest shoot drop for Normani's new single Wild Side.
In the artwork, posted to both Normani and Cardi's grids today (and which you can see below), the paur can be seen butt naked, sporting nothing but their own hair (or, quite possibly, a bikini make from hair pieces).
The look quite literally takes mermaid hair to the next lev, and I'm obsessed. Cardi took to Stories to post a sweet video about Normani, urging fans to support her and saying:
"I hope you guys are enjoying the artwork I'm working right now, but I want you guys to remember, like, I feel like this is Normani's big comeback. And, like, I want you guys to treat it like it's her birthday. Like, this is literally her birthday, and this song, everything is amazing, and I'm just so proud of her. I'm just like the support team... I'm just here, like yay! I'm so excited, you guys are gonna see Normani in a different light..."
Cardi later teased on her stories "another secret", before filming herself in a swimsuit and singing Shakira's Hips Don't Lie in tribute to her beautiful pregnancy bod.
Human hair bikini? Never thought I'd see the day, tbh.
