Brooks Koepka at the Masters: Tee time, odds to win, injury update, recent LIV Golf results

Brooks Koepka will continue his pursuit of a sixth career pro golf major championship this week at the 2024 Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia.

The Palm Beach County native and Cardinal Newman product has never won at Augusta National Golf Club despite his decorated career as a major champion. He entered Sunday with a lead but finished second to Jon Rahm on a day he had to play 30 holes due to weather delays.

Koepka, who's now a captain with LIV Golf, will have a reunion of sorts this week with former PGA Tour rivals like Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler and others competing at the Masters.

Here's a look at Koepka's 2024 Masters tee time, odds to win, previous Masters finishes and more:

Koepka will enter the 2024 Masters as a favorite to win the tournament.

Hard Rock Bet sportsbook gives Koepka the sixth-best odds (+1750), the same odds as fellow major champion Jordan Spieth.

Scottie Scheffler is the current favorite (+300) to win with Rory McIlroy (+900) and reigning champion Jon Rahm (+1000) just behind.

Koepka has never won a Masters Tournament but has come close with second-place finishes in 2019 and 2023.

He won back-to-back U.S. Open titles in 2017 and 2018 and then won back-to-back PGA Championships in 2018 and 2019. Last year, he won the PGA Championship for a third time at Oak Hill Country Club in New York.

Koepka has also never won an Open Championship.

“There’s 19 people in front of me," Koepka said of golf greats with as many or more major championship victories. "I do know that.”

Koepka's play with LIV Golf has been trending in the wrong direction over five tournaments this year.

He shot 8-under to finish seventh individually at LIV Mayakoba in early February in his best finish of the season. He finished 13th (-6) and 12th (-9) at LIV Las Vegas and Jeddah respectively before placing 28th (-6) at LIV Hong Kong.

Koepka suffered the worst individual finish of his LIV Golf career last week in Miami, taking 46th (+7) in a disastrous performance at Trump National Doral Miami.

In team golf, Koepka's Smash GC, featuring Talor Gooch, Jason Kokrak and Graeme McDowell, won its first tournament this year at LIV Las Vegas.

Brooks Koepka on PGA Tour, LIV Golf difference

Koepka said Tuesday it was "subjective" as to whether he was no longer competing alongside the world's best golfers while playing with LIV Golf.

He noted PGA Tour players often were selective with their schedules and did not necessarily compete in every scheduled event.

“The best players in the world never got together week in and week out," Koepka said. "When you look at the tour schedule, it was majors and then WGC … Those were pretty much the 10 events where everyone was for sure going to be there. And then it was just kind of sprinkled in everywhere else.”
