Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on Kyler Edwards and Scottie Lindsey

As most know, the Brooklyn Nets will be starting training camp next week as they begin the preparations for a season that hopefully extends beyond the regular-season. For the days leading up to the beginning of training camp, it appears that the team is trying to bolster its G League roster.

The Nets announced on Thursday that they have requested waivers on guards Kyler Edwards and Scottie Lindsey. This now brings Brooklyn’s total roster to 18 players, including two-ways in 2023 second-round pick Jalen Wilson and sharpshooter Armoni Brooks.

Edwards was signed on Sep. 25, the same day that Jordan Hall and Keifer Sykes were waived, and Lindsey was signed on Sep. 26. As of right now, it looks like all four players will be part of Brooklyn’s G League team, the Long Island Nets.

Once training camp begins, the Nets will be looking to see who will be in the rotation for this season and who may need to see a role/location change.
