Futsal legend Falcao scores with spinning backheel move off a free kick

One of the greatest futsal players ever, the now 35-year-old Falcao, flashed a dazzling bit of skill during an exhibition match that was one of the most imaginative free kick moves you're likely to see in the indoor or outdoor game. Commemorating the success of the now defunct Atletico futsal team, the match was a special one for Falcao and as you can see in the video above, he was determined to put on a show.

His masterpiece came after being awarded a free kick in the second half (28 seconds into the video). A teammate fooled the opposing keeper into making a move by setting up Falcao with a soft rabona. Falcao then -- all in one perfect move -- trapped the ball between his feet and executed a spinning backheel lob over the keeper's head and into the net.

It was the best of five goals Falcao scored in the 14-5 win against an Estrelas side."I'm very happy," he said after the match. "I lost my father in 2004, and I remember him here in 1999, watching the [Liga Nacional championship] game. I remember the happiness he was to see me win a world title, with 25 thousand people screaming my name."
