Bengals upgrading seats, concession stands at Paycor Stadium

The Cincinnati Bengals‘ home, Paycor Stadium, is undergoing renovations this offseason as part of a multi-year project.

About 12,500 seats have been removed, according to Bret Buganski of WCPO, and the county said they will be replaced with seats that are more comfortable. Renovations they have already done include upgrading the concession stands and adding LED ribbon boards around the stadium.

It’s part of a $39 million renovation to improve the stadium, which is now 23 years old. Work crews are aiming to have the seating done by the next big event that takes place in the stadium, which would be before the NFL season begins.

The stadium entrance is also being renovated so access to get in and out is much easier and doesn’t get too congested, according to Hamilton County Commissioner Denise Driehaus.
